Simplicity: High-assurance Smart Contracting

Smart contracts are becoming very popular in the blockchain industry. However, the blockchain has some limitations that reduce the efficiency of smart contract programming.

Simplicity is a low-level programming language for building smart contracts. It enables developers to build sophisticated and reliable smart contracts which are not possible on blockchains such as Ethereum’s EVM.

Simplicity is designed to function on Blockstream’s Element platform so developers building sidechains or independent blockchains will soon have Simplicity available to them. More information can be obtained here concerning the programming language.
