Blockstream is introducing its block explorer which has gone live on the internet. The new block explorer is first for users of the Liquid Sidechain but Bitcoin has been integrated so Bitcoin transactions on the blockchain can be checked using the Blockstream block explorer.

Unlike existing block explorers, the explorer supports Segwit, Bech32 and the most recent bitcoin features and provides information from updated bitcoin core full nodes. As a liquid block explorer, it serves as a dashboard for Liquid functionaries to monitor network activities.

The explorer is starting with simple features for easy use even for beginners but more features will be added eventually that will be relevant for developers.
